Introduction

This project is the realization of a "furniture-compatible" DIY RGB lamp I made. it uses Arduino-based hardware. The whole project is DIY, both in the microcontroller part and in the lamp part.

Required parts for the project:

Arduino platform parts:

  • 1x ATMega328 Microcontroller
  • 1x DIP Sockets Solder Tail - 28-Pin 0.3"
  • 1x Basic LED - Green
  • 1x Resistor 330 Ohm 1/6th Watt PTH
  • 1x Resistor 10k Ohm 1/6th Watt PTH
  • 1x Mini Push Button Switch
  • 2x Electrolytic Decoupling Capacitors - 10uF/25V
  • 1x Voltage Regulator - 5V
  • 1x Crystal 16MHz
  • 2x Capacitor Ceramic 22pF
  • Some Female Headers
  • Some Jumper Wires

Lamp platform parts

  • 3x BC337 Transistors
  • 2x 10k potentiometer
  • 1x ON/OFF switch
  • 1x ON/OFF/ON switch
  • 2x Resistor 10k Ohm 1/6th Watt PTH
  • Some 12v RGB led strip (I used 50cm)
  • Some male and headers
